Preplanning is something you do for your family. Making decisions in advance spares your loved ones from making them at an emotionally charged time. By preplanning, the choice is yours, as personal as you wish, made with us in total confidence -- without pressure.

Although not required when making pre-arrangements, most people choose to set aside funds that will cover their future funeral expenses. We offer a variety of pre-payment programs. Pre-paying these expenses allows you to control cost, avoid emotional overspending, and guarantees today's pricing.
Making pre-arrangements can be as involved or as simple as you wish them to be. You can make a selection of the type of service, casket, music, and any additional requests you may have or you can simply give only the biographical information that will be needed for notification of newspapers, legal forms, etc.

Once your pre-arrangements are made and on file, when the time of need arises, a call to our funeral home will enable us to proceed with what you have planned. We can meet with you at your home or at our funeral home to explain the various programs and answer any questions. But in the meantime, we have provided an easy way for you to begin your funeral pre-planning.

Right now, in the privacy of your home, you can:

• Record the statistical information about yourself and your family so that your loved ones will not face this painful task while they are grieving:
  
• Record your service preferences
• Write your own obituary

You can choose to only record the items that you wish, and we will keep this information on file at Adams Funeral Home, and you may add to it, update it, or come in and complete your pre-planning at your convenience.

Most prearrangements are transferable!

While you did the right thing by making funeral arrangements in advance, you may have changed your mind on the funeral home you selected. Adams Funeral Home accepts prearrangements made at other funeral homes.
