Born April 12, 1948 in Uniontown at home, she was the daughter of Griff and Verna E. (Metz) Hill who are both deceased. She was a member of Uniontown Baptist Church and attended Praise Cathedral Church of God in Seymour. Patty loved to be at home working on her crochet and needle point projects. Survivors include, a nephew and caretakers for fifteen years, Alvin & Janet Fields of Seymour, IN, one brother and his companion Robert H. (Pat) Hill of Spring Hill, Florida, one sister and her husband, Lena A. (Thomas) Gay of Brownstown, IN, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant stillborn brother, James Richard Hill, and a sister, Lois M. Fields. Reverend G.L. Williams will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Adams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery. Friends may visit on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville and after Noon on Sunday at the funeral home. Patty Jo Hill, 61, of Seymour, Indiana since 1989, formerly of Uniontown, Indiana passed away at the home of her nephew at 5:00 PM December 31, 2009.
