Marlin L. WehmillerMarlin L. Wehmiller, 81, of Seymour formerly of the Crothersville Tampico area, passed away at 7:39 PM on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood, Indiana.

Born February 19, 1928, in Dudleytown, Indiana, he was the son of the late Herman and Wilma (Goecker) Wehmiller.

He retired from the former Contel Phone Company known as Verizon today. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, Indiana, enjoyed hunting with his dogs, and taking rides in the country.

On May 16, 1959 in Seymour Indiana he married Martha “Margo”(Weber) Wehmiller who survives in Seymour.

Other survivors include six children and their spouses, Marcia (Kenny) Lynn of Seymour, Jennifer Jo Gray of Seymour, Indiana, Teresa (Barry) Short of Paris Crossing, Indiana, Lucinda (Harry) Howe of Seymour, Indiana, step daughter, Linda Smith of Seymour, Indiana Terry Wehmiller of Ohio, nine grandchildren, Courtney Justin Lynn of Seymour, Indiana, Victoria (Jason) Poole of Scottsburg, Indiana, Charity Lynch of Mexico, Jake Stice of Seymour, Indiana, Jarod Wince of Seymour, Indiana, Tristan Short of Paris Crossing, Indiana, Trey Short of Paris Crossing, Indiana, Tammy Riley of Austin, Indiana, Brandy Buckner of Seymour, Indiana, seven great grandchildren, Rhonda Parks of Salem, Indiana, Tyson Henson of Salem, Indiana, Nichloas & Joseph Zagata, Seymour, Indiana, Britney Butler of Seymour, Indiana, Angel Katelynn Poole of Scottsburg, Indiana, Gabriel Lee Poole of Scottsburg, Indiana, one brother, Willis (Rosanna) Wehmiller of Seymour, Indiana, one sister, Mary Lou Cremeens of Crothersville, Indiana.

A daughter, Marlene Wehmiller and two brothers, Leon and Daryl Wehmiller preceded him in death.

Reverend Ralph Blomenburg and Reverend Jimmy Rodriguez will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville with burial to follow at Russell Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville, Sunday, February 21, 2010 and after 9:00 AM on Monday at Adams Funeral Home.
