Mrs. St. Clair was a homemaker and worked at the former U.S. Shoe Factory in the heal department for 19 years. She enjoyed Quilting, flowers, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Born September 17, 1917, in Harlan, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William and Victoria (Nolan) Brummett who preceded her in death. On March 17, 1938, she married Theodore Howard who preceded her in death on August 6, 1972 then on October of 1975 she married Claude St. Clair who preceded her in death December of 1989. Survivors include, two children, one son, Odevah (Geraldine) Howard of Crothersville, one daughter, Elveda Bucklew, Crothersville, 7 grandchildren, Lynn Howard, Robert Howard, Rita Brandenburg, Lora Murray, Mike Murray, Stephanie Walters all of Crothersville, IN, Diane Smith, New Albany, IN; 14 great grandchildren, Four brothers, Hubert Brummett, William Brummett, both of Crothersville, Loyd Brummett, Paris Crossing, IN, Boyd Brummett, South Carolina; one sister, Thelma Cathcart, Little York, Indiana. Two children, Geneva Campbell and Delbert Dean Howard, three brothers, Roy, Harrison, Lewis, three sisters, Nola Hensley, Audney Brock, Ruby Howard, two grandsons, Joe Howard and Mark Campbell also preceded her in death. Bro. Billy Joe Deaton will conduct Funeral services at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville, Indiana with burial to follow at Cana Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, March 4, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville, Indiana and Wednesday March 5, 2008 from 9:00 AM to time of service at Adams Funeral Home.
