She retired for the US shoe corp. in April of 1997 working as a stamper, and worked for May Stewart in the coffee shop. Martha enjoyed scapbooking and crocheting. Born June 6, 1934 in Jennings County, she was the daughter of Emil R. and Gladys Irene Bannister both who preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister, Burdette (Bobby) Vanover, Crothersville. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet June Hiler, Patricia Ann Combs, one brother, Ronald R. Bannister. Rev. Jon Pearce will conduct Funeral Services at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville; burial will follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home and after Noon on Sunday at Adams Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Crothersville Cemetery. |
