James Michael Warren, 59 of Austin, passed away at 4:30 AM on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

He was a former employee of the Indiana State Highway Department both in Seymour and Scottsburg for a total of 20 years. He was a 1967 Crothersville High School Graduate.

Born on January 19, 1949 in Jackson County he was the son of the late Lionel Guthrie Warren and Edna (Hollin) Warren who survives in Crothersville.

Survivors include, three children, on daughter, Michele Warren (James Benbow), Naples, Florida; two sons, Scott Warren, Seymour, IN; Eric Warren, Columbus, IN; two grandchildren, Alexa Warren, Scottsburg, IN; Seth Benbow, Naples, FL; six siblings, John (Shirley) Chandler, Houston, Texas; Jean Skarbovik, Crothersville, IN; Lydia (Frank) Prewitt, Seymour, IN; Linda Carter, Scottsburg, IN; Anita Nicholson, Indianapolis, IN; Lori (Larry) Clark, Seymour, IN.

One brother, Larry Warren of Houston, Texas preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville. Burial will be at Crothersville Cemetery following cremation.
