Helen (Grove) McGinnis, 92, of Crothersville, passed away at 11:25 AM at her home on Monday, January 14, 2008.

She retired from the Peoples Bank after working for 28 years and was a member of Crothersville United Methodist Church, Crothersville Senior Citizens & Order of Eastern Star.

On May 13, 1939 Helen married Hubert McGinnis who preceded her in death on April 21, 1994.

She was born on July 17, 1915 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the parents of R. Calvin and Clara (Thoele) Grove.

Survivors include two children, a son Steven McGinnis, Madison, Indiana, a daughter, Diane Miller, Crothersville, Indiana, four granddaughters, Elizabeth Boone, Jennifer Miller, Kim Still & Diane McGinnis.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Grove Lineberry & Dorothy Grove and a brother Calvin Grove.

Reverend Jim Higdon will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 and after 9:00 AM on Thursday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville.
