Mrs. Weddle was a homemaker and owned and operated the Crothersville Roll Arena in the early 1960’s for several years with her husband Kenny. Dorthy and her husband enjoyed traveling the USA in their motor home; she also enjoyed quilting, painting, sewing and baking. Born March 1, 1913, in Scott County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Roy and Lora (Whitsitt) Pheral who preceded her in death. She was a 1932 Crothersville High School graduate. On March 11, 1933, she married Kenneth Weddle who preceded her in death on April 10, 2005. Survivors include, Two sons, Edwin(Carolyn)Weddle, Crothersville; Dr. Gordon (Mary Jane) Weddle, Campbellsville, KY ;two daughters, Norma Jean Lucas, Crothersville; Ruth Baldridge ( Fullerton, CA);Special grandson, Michael Stidham (Seymour, IN),13 grandchilren,20 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, one brother, John L. Pheral, Columbus, Indiana. Two sisters, Thelma Nehrt, Lora Pheral, one brother, Thomas Pheral, also preceded him in death. Rev. Jon Pearce will conduct Funeral services at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville, Indiana with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, February 27, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville, Indiana and Thursday February 28, 2008 from 9:00 AM to time of service at Adams Funeral Home.
