Andy retired from Regal Insulation Factory as a Traffic Manager and a lifelong trainer of quarter horses. He was a member of the Masonic lodge in Medora and an avid horse enthusiast and competitively showed horses all of his life, and a member of AQHA. Born March 29, 1944 in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of late Ralph Combs and Leora (Bratcher) Summa who survives in Seymour. On September 20, 2003 he married Amy (Schill) Combs who survives in Crothersville. Other survivors include three children: Joseph "Joey" Combs his wife, Shedera of Texarkana, Texas; Michelle Gambrell her husband Kenny of Scottsburg, IN.; A.W. Combs his wife JuLee of Marshalltown, Iowa; five grandchildren: Matt & Jason Combs, Texarkana, Texas; Kacey & Kensley Gambrell of Scottsburg, IN.; Cole Combs of Fort Wayne, IN; and a nephew, Blake Johnson, of Terre Haute, IN. Reverend Jon Pearce will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 28, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home, in Crothersville. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM on Monday at Adams Funeral Home.
