Merchandise at Adams Funeral Home - Casket Selection
Caskets
Because tastes are as unique as people, caskets are made from a variety of metals and woods. In selecting a casket, you will find a great variety to choose from, differing in material, craftsmanship and style. Take the time to choose, so that you are comfortable with your decision in terms of style and cost. At Adams Funeral Home, our casket selection room offers each family privacy to make their selection of choice.

Casket Inscriptions:
Modern technology allows us to offer laser etching of most traditional caskets or cremation caskets. Laser etching permits families to personalize the casket by inscribing a name, dates, a nickname, or favorite saying. It is even possible to include designs like religious symbols, military emblems, even simple artwork reflecting a certain lifestyle or hobby.

Commemorative Casket Interiors:
Most casket interiors can be personalized by adding Commemorative Casket Interiors. These Commemorative Interiors can include standard designs and themes from the manufacturer, such as a religious theme or a relationship theme like 'Mother'. Even custom embroidering is available for names, quotes, or special designs.

Symbolic Casket Ornamentation:
Some caskets have interchangeable corner ornamentation. This allows families to create a casket that reflects the lifestyle of the deceased by adding symbolic corners such as a Cross, an American Eagle, an Angel, a Masonic Emblem, and so on. Additionally, Symbolic Corners are also available for Masonic Emblem, and so on.

Urns
Urns come in a variety of shapes, sizes and materials. Some can even be engraved if you so desire. If cremation is the choice of final disposition, the ashes will return from the crematory in a small container that is suitable for burial or for a family member to cherish. You may decide to purchase an urn in which to place the ashen remains. As with caskets, there are a great number of urns varying in material, craftsmanship and style. Our selection room offers family privacy to make their selection of choice.

Urn Inscriptions:
In addition to caskets, most urns can also be laser etched. In fact, any engravable urn that we offer includes a name and dates at no additional charge. Other designs that may be added would be quotes, lifestyle artwork, religious artwork, military decals, and even personal photos can be reproduced.

Keepsake Memorials:
A keepsake memorial is basically any container that can hold or store a personal memento of the deceased such as a lock of hair, a personal item, a portion of cremated remains, etc. Types and styles of keepsake memorials varies according to individual needs, but an example of some are: Jewelry, bronze figurines, small memento boxes, miniature urns, garden memorials, and many more.

Memento Chests:
Memento Chests are similar in size and shape to a jewelry chest but are usually inscribed with the individual's name and dates. Further personalization could be added to include any design or emblem or even a photo can be reproduced. The purpose of the memento chest is to store those special memories. In it you can place memory cards, personal mementos, photos, keepsakes from the funeral, even a private letter to the deceased. The memento chest is a place you can go to for healing, remembering, and comfort.

Vaults
A vault is an outer burial container, now required by many cemeteries. They vary in material from cement, metal, plastic or any combination of the three. They may be sealed or unsealed. Our merchandise selection room provides samples of vaults and other outer burial containers for each family to preview and make their selection of choice.

Monuments
Monuments come in many shapes, sizes and colors. There are many carvings and font types available as well. As an additional service, we offer the finest in memorial stones and monuments for your selection, ranging in price from inexpensive to the most elaborate. We can assist you in personalizing a memorial for your loved one with a design that will meet every budget.

Other Merchandise

Garden Memorials:
Garden Memorials can include a variety of plaques, or garden ornamentation. Again, they are usually inscribed with the name and dates, but can be further personalized with designs, emblems and sometimes even photos. Some ideas for garden memorials include, a fountain, a sundial, a bird bath, wind chimes, a bronze plaque or granite marker.

Paper Products:
A variety of Memorial Registry Books, Service Folders and Acknowledgement Cards are available that can reflect the life and interests of the deceased. Flowers can be offered as a token of sympathy at the loss of a family member or friend.
